20th October 15, Mumbai: The second season of the Gionee India Beach Fashion Week (GIBFW) kick started with at the sultrypool side press conference at The Lalit, Mumbai. Actress Anusha Dandekar hosted the intimate preview where finale designers Wendell Rodricks, James Ferreira and Rocky Star with their model muses Candice Pinto, DeeptiGujral and Sucheta Sharma respectively gave a scintillating teaser of their upcoming collections. Among the young designers and muses, there were Pratham&Gyanesh with the dashing Eijaz Khan, ZeelDoshiThakkerwith actress Pooja Gupta and Dimple Raghani and Riddhi Siddhi with their models.DJ Ali Merchant was also present at the evnt to offer his support to the GIBFW S2.
The panel that included Mr. Amin Manji and Mr. Pallav Ojha, co-foundersof the GIBFW, Mr. Waseem Belgaumkar, Senior Manager Sales, Gionee, Mr. Ankit Srivastava, Growth Architect, Roposo, Mr. Nitin Agarwal, AVP – Marketing, Shopclues.com, Mr. Amit Samson, GM, Lalit Mumbai, spoke about their association to GIBFW.

GIBFW S2 proudly present the new breed of young talented designers like DikshaKhanna, Dionne Claudette Alves, Lalit Dalmia, Mohit Sachdeva, MuktiTibrewal, Philu Martins, Pratham & Gyanesh, Sangeeta Sharma, Savitri, Shweta Puthran, Shruthi Akara and Riddhi Majithia, Tanveer & Saniya, and Zeel Doshi Thakker, all showcasing their authentic and unique designs for the very first time.
In an endeavour to engage better with Fashion Designers, Buyer Community, Style Enthusiasts, Patrons and a plethora of national Media this season, GIBFW S2 is being held at the picturesque and grand venue, The Lalit Golf & Spa Resort. At the Light House Arena, everyone will experience best ever designers’ pop-up arena, buyers’ lounge, Roposo Social Lounge and Experience Zone,Business of Fashion arena, fashion café, etc. To add value to our wonderful hosts, unique display and sale arena ‘Made in Goa’, has been introduced for design talent specifically based out of Goa.
